Visa & Entry Requirements

Welcome to IFED 2026 Seoul. To ensure a smooth journey to Korea, please review the following visa and entry information carefully. It is the responsibility of each participant to check the specific requirements for their nationality.

K-ETA (Korea Electronic Travel Authorization)

Participants from countries with visa-free entry agreements with South Korea must apply for a K-ETA at least 72 hours before boarding their flight.

  • Who needs it: Citizens of visa-exempt countries.
  • Validity: Generally 2 years from the date of approval.
  • Official Website: www.k-eta.go.kr (Please use the official site to avoid scams).

Short-term Visit Visa (C-3-1)

If your country is not eligible for K-ETA, you must apply for a Short-term Visit Visa (C-3-1) at the Korean Embassy or Consulate in your place of residence.

  • Processing Time: It may take from 2 weeks to over a month. We highly recommend starting your application at least 8–10 weeks prior to the congress.
  • Official Visa Portal: www.visa.go.kr
